Using a Teeter Inversion Table is probably the best thing you can do for most back problems.
Inverting will:
* Gently elongate your spine
* Decompresses your main joints such as the knees and hips
* Correct minor spinal misalignments,
* Re-hydrate the discs between your vertebrae and reduce any nerve root pressure that might otherwise cause pain.
* Allow you to do inverted sit-ups and squats
A recent study on patients with sciatic problems by a Newcastle Hospital found that the group of who used an inversion table were 70.5% less likely to need surgery when when compared with the control group.

My thoughts: I have sciatica and scoliosis so I was really hanging (no pun intened) to get one of these. And mine just arrived yesterday, I do feel an imporvement already and I havent gone past 15degress.
Cant wait to see what improvement await
