This is for anyone who ever clenched a fist at the bloody PG Tips monkeys, or the ridiculously ludicrous Gillette ads, or the simply annoying idiots who prance about, in black and white, pretending to be irrisitable due to a fragrance they're wearing, or whatever ads happen to interrupt a perfectly good movie on TV.


I'm not saying that ads are necessarily bad. They're just damned infuriating when you're in the middle of a half decent film. The idiots at the broadcast houses are clueless, and cue the ads at the worst of places, without a hint of discretion.
Why can't they put elongated ads at the front or back end of a film, such as they do in cinemas?? Why interrupt the experience?
AND WHY TALK OVER THE CREDITS??!! The movie isn't finished! Stop TALKING!!
But as if that weren't bad enough, they shrink the credits, and play a clip of what's coming next.
To me, it's a pimped conveyor belt of whored out programmes and films, tatooed and scarred with brands, manufacturers, and labels.
Disgusting.

Perhaps I'm being Naiive. Perhaps commercials are a legal and financial necessity. In fact, we all know they are.
But I say: 'Legal, Smeagol.'

End the commercial breaks in films. They're driving me up the bloody wall.

If you're like-minded, join this group, and with numbers, perhaps we can persuade those morons that commercial schedules need to be revised.
Yeah, right.
