Come on, you know it's true. Ever since whoever used to make redskins sold out and let Wonka take over, life has been just that little bit less happy. We still buy them, we still eat them, we still try to keep the magic alive, but we're only fooling ourselves. Wonka took our iconic Aussie lolly and turned it all pink and squishy. If you dig down deep you'll admit that this Indian Chieftan-less piece of sugar is not the redskin of your childhood.

My thoughts: When I saw this group, I had to post as I was thinking this exact same thing myself. I absolutely loved redskins when I was a kid. They were one of the nicest things (them and chicos, toffe apple bars and milk bottles, all of which now dont taste the same either).
Once Wonka bought Redskins they have lost that awersome creamyness, I wonder why they changed the recipe ? I can understand if they wanted to improve it but them made them crap now. Are you listening Wonka ?? Bring back the old recipe.

Redskins were huge when I was a kid.
You could get the small ones, or the bar (like the toffee apple ones also).
I still see them around sometimes, but they certainly don't compare.
What a shame.
