Todays group: Do you ever wonder where your bobby pins get to?

Do you ever wonder where your bobby pins get to, especially considering that you start with so many and don't even end up with one?
Where do they go? Is there some bobby pin convention that we don't know about? Or do they have some kind of special power that allows them to disintergrate into thin air?

My thoughts: LOL I go through so many bobby pins. It seems likeas soon as you put them in your hair, thats it, they will never get back in the package once you take them out, youll put them somwhere and wont see them again and have to go buy more. They probably end up the same place as odd socks.
