Todays group: Campaign for stricter regulations on the definition of a chicken parma
63 members and counting
Enough is enough people!
Rules:1) No longer will we accept anything less than 1 cm of chicken thickness
2) If the batter is thicker than the chicken, then the item should be named on the menu- "Batter Parma"
2)a) Publicans who continue to serve up this trollop can no longer advertise a "Pot & Parma"- From this day on it shall be known as a "Pot & Batter" night.
2)b) Its supposed to be a coating of breadcrumbs! It's not supposed to resemble batter at all!
3) Size does not always matter- if its crap, its crap!
4) Publicans must advertise when they start serving an inferior product and adjust prices accordingly. One would not accept chuck steak if they'd ordered and paid for eye fillet!
5) If patrons can no longer trust that their publican will serve up a true chicken parma then it must be stricken from the menu.
Nb: All views will be welcomed to this group, but remember- if you're wrong, you're wrong!
Viva La Revolutionne!
ps. search for a super parma please come back with a vengeance and save us all.
pps. if you're unsure what to look for Really Long Link is a good start- lightly breadcrumbed Chicken Breast!
As an afterthought, why not make this constructive-
If u've had a bad parma that fell below your expectations, feel free to vent on the wall.
Or alternatively- tell us about a great one you've had that involved a "real" chicken breast.
