Todays group: Australians against overuse of the word 'random'
285 members and counting
Group description:
For those who are tired of the relentless slaughter of a very handy word. The recent overuse of the word is very apparent on Facebook and myspace, often used incorrectly and usually to describe the unexpected.
We've all said these sentences before but let us try and slow down the misuse. Let us bring some order to the randomness and more seldom use the following:
"Some random just started talking to us"
"What are you doing this weekend?" "I dunno, just random stuff"
Photo album name: "Random photos" or "Randoms"
Group type: "Totally random"
"How random!"
"I couldn't believe how random it was!"
"Family Guy is just so random!"
"whoa.... RANDOM"
Click Here to see the group (if you are a member of facebook of course)
My thoughts: I heard someone the other day totally overuse the word 'random' which got me thinking, "I wonder if there is a facebook group for that?"..and sure enough
